ENDORSEMENTS

"Brian served previously on the Payson City Council and is currently working as the Chair of the Payson City Economic Development Board.  He has a vision for the growth and retention of current and future businesses in Payson, which is why I support his campaign."  Mark Kershaw

“Brian understands Payson inside and out. More than anyone I’ve worked with, Brian has a passion for well-planned and well-managed economic growth for our city. He has a terrific vision, common sense, and an unrivaled work ethic. I whole-heartedly recommend him for the Payson City Council.”  –Dan Herbert

To the Citizens of Payson,

I endorse Brian Hulet for City Council and here is why:

His vast experience to assist in Economic Development, Growth in a controlled manner while maintaining the “Small Town Feel” , his unique ability to build relationships with dignitaries and business owners across the state that will benefit Payson as it sets and achieves goals.

I have worked with Brian for many years on issues of growth, I have watched his leadership as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee vet and attract the right types of business that ease the financial burden to taxpayers while increasing tax base through the local economy.

I have worked with Brian for many years watching him implement and execute a proposal to rebrand the city with “Home to Adventure”. Even though the slogan, logo and culture of the rebranding brings “new” opportunities, He has worked closely with city leaders to preserve and maintain traditions Payson holds dear.

His connections, diligent work and ability to seek and maintain the right relationships have assisted in rebuilding downtown, which is set to have reconstruction commence soon, complete with a Food Hall which will be a unique one-of-a-kind dining experience. I’ve also seen his diligent efforts in the restoration of the Huish Theatre.

I am excited for Payson’s future, while still remembering our past.  I believe Brian Hulet embodies those qualities to lead Payson to a bright future while cultivating the Cities history and unique traditions.  Ty Jones

It is with pleasure that Jeannette and I encourage your support for Brian Hulet in his bid for a seat on the Payson City Council.  We have known Brian and his family for almost 11 years and in that time have become close friends.  I have worked closely with Brian as councilors in a LDS Bishopric and know of his integrity and character. Civically, Brian has worked to realistically build the community through various committees, outreach, and behind the scene organizational skills.  One such endeavor is: Founder and current Chairman of the Payson Economic Development Committee-now focused on attracting an institution of higher learning campus to Payson, a new hotel, and new businesses to the business park. If you want problems solved vote for someone who is already doing it.  He is all that we endorsers say he is!  It is time for his working in the background to come forefront, bringing the various opportunities he has taken to serve the community and the experience he has gained, to make things happen and not just talk about them.  Don & Jeanette Helvey
